Media Inquiries

The SPF Council and other prominent members of the SPF community are available for SPF and e-mail related interviews with interested journalists.

To schedule an appointment, please use the below contact form or contact us by e-mail. Please include the following details: your name, your media outlet, the desired topic, your deadline, whether your inquiry should be handled confidentially, and the best method of contacting you. We attempt to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours; if your deadline is within 24 hours, please indicate the deadline in the message subject.

Community support and discussion

For general questions about SPF or support questions about publishing SPF records and configuring your MTA for SPF checking, please try the FAQ and community support. The community is dedicated to widespread deployment of SPF, so they are more than willing to help.

For discussions about the concept of SPF and its technical design, there is a wide range of mailing lists and an IRC channel.

You can also contact us directly about your questions using the form below and your message will be directed to the appropriate team of volunteers, who will get back to you as quickly as they can. Support Requests will be entered in our automated problem ticket system, while other requests will be held and handled on a case-by-case basis which may be much slower.

Note: Non-confidential submissions that are of general interest may be forwarded to any of the project's mailing lists. Those mailing lists are publicly readable by everyone.
